Ok, the time has come for me to help people understand that no matter how many times we call for the Impeachment of Barrack Obama, it just is NOT going to happen. I’m as guilty as the next person of putting up the silly graphics on my page that say “Impeach Obama,” but in reality it’s rather irresponsible of me. If I had my way I would not even be involved with Facebook, and I would not post silly graphics.
I take a great deal of pride in trying to provide news on my blog that you are not getting from the mainstream media, and not only give my commentary on it, but I try to link articles together so you can see events as they are really happening, and by that I mean NOT in a vacuum as each individual article might suggest. Anyone who has followed my links on FEMA camps or the movements of D.H.S., can attest to the fact that most of the articles, when read alone, aren’t too terrifying, but when looked at as a whole, and in context, demonstrate that Barrack Obama has created a terrifying situation all around us.
Anyway, I get the statistics of how many people click on the stories each day, and how many click on the pictures, so if you’ve ever noticed, I usually post a story, then two pictures. Sadly, in the instant gratification world we live in, the stories don’t grab people, the pictures do. When people come to my Facebook page to share the pictures, inevitably some of them happen to see the stories, and a fraction of those who see the stories will read and share them. If I could get people to read the stories without the pictures, I assure you there would be no pictures.
I say over and over on my page, PICTURES WILL NOT WIN ELECTIONS. THE INFORMATION IN THE ARTICLES WHEN PUT IN THE HANDS OF THE UNINFORMED WILL. With every single picture posted, there is a never ending string of people crying for the IMPEACHMENT of Barrack Obama without knowing what that really means, how the process works, and why it will NEVERhappen. It is my hope that when you realize that AND WHY, you’ll be more inclined to SHARE the actual articles rather than the pictures with those who are less informed.
First, to understand why Barrack Obama will never be impeached it is important to understand what Impeachment is. Think of Impeachment like a grand jury proceeding where an indictment for a crime is pursued. Article II of the United States Constitution (Section 4) states that “The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.” The House of Representatives has the sole power of impeaching, while the United States Senate has the sole power to try all impeachments. The removal of impeached officials is automatic upon conviction in the Senate.
First, Treason is defined under Article III of the United States Constitution (Section 3) as “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.”
The charge of high crimes and misdemeanors covers “allegations of misconduct peculiar to officials, such as perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, conduct unbecoming, and refusal to obey a lawful order. Offenses by officials also include ordinary crimes, but perhaps with different standards of proof and punishment than for nonofficials, on the grounds that more is expected of officials by their oaths of office.”
So far so good right? We’ve got Obama! Not so fast.
As I said above, The House of Representatives has the sole power of impeaching, while the United States Senate has the sole power to try all impeachments. In laymen terms, for the purposes of Barrack Obama, that means the GOP controlled House of Representatives has the sole power to Impeach President Obama. Remember what I said when I began, that Impeachment is analogous to a grand jury proceeding. It’s a charge so to speak. Let’s assume the GOP controlled House decides to use their sole power to impeach the President. ALLthat means, is they are charging him with Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors. Like any proceeding, just because he is “Charged,” does NOTmean he is convicted. All that means is a trial needs to take place.So, if a simple majority of those present and voting choose to impeach Barrack Obama, then managers (typically referred to as “House managers”, with a “lead House manager”) are selected to present the case to the Senate.
The trial itself takes place in theSENATE, which is controlled by Dingy Harry Reid and the Democrats. At a trial, Senators would take an oath or affirmation that they will perform their duties honestly and with due diligence in the matter regarding the trial of Barrack Obama. After hearing the charges, the Senators would deliberates in private. Conviction requires a two-thirds majority. Let me say that again. Conviction requires a TWO-THIRDS majority of the Senate. The GOP doesn’t even have the majority much less two-thirds of the vote.
Furthermore, with Obama’s rapid acceleration of entitlements to American Families, if he is allowed to finish his second term, it is likely at the current pace when Obama leaves office more households will receive government checks than those that do not. Once that threshold is crossed, America has been “Fundamentally Transformed” and every Democratic Senator knows that. Few, if any families will vote themselves out of “free money,” effectively making the government a one party system. I predict there will never be another Republican President. How could there be? THAT many people would vote themselves out of a check? Forgive me if I don’t have that much faith in Americans these days. Knowing that their party is on the verge of being permanently entrenched in power, as a direct result of Barrack Obama, there is not a snowball’s chance in hell the two-thirds vote required to remove Barrack Obama from office would come close.
Now that you understand WHY there will NEVER be an impeachment charge brought against Obama UNLESS the GOP wins all 14 or so seats up for grabs in the Senate, maybe it will incentivize you to spread information to the uninformed voters, not pictures. Folks, Below is a link with EVERY Democratic Senator who LIED about Obamacare along with Obama despite knowing as far back as 2010 how many Americans would lose coverage. We can keep sharing pictures, or we can explain to our friends and family why these people HAVE to be voted out and replaced with conservatives. I have never heard a better explanation of how elections take place in this country than the one below. It’s beyond sad, but it’s true. Watch it, and then do you part to spread information to those who need it most. The future is in OURhands. We get the government we deserve. If we do nothing, after the 2014 elections, America as we knew it will be GONE.
